Fantasy Book Critic is a prominent (and excellent) book review site focusing on fantasy novels as well as other speculative fiction. FBC is a collective of several reviewers from a wide range of backgrounds. It’s a venerable presence in the book blogging world, established nearly 15 years ago.

In October 2019, critic Łukasz Przywóski reviewed The Nothing Within. I was delighted to see that it was my favorite kind of review: the “I don’t usually like this kind of book, but…” kind.

Since then, Łukasz has been a gracious supporter, occasionally checking in with me. Last year he told me about the Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off (where The Nothing Within was a semifinalist despite not quite being a fantasy novel), and more recently about the new Self-Published Science Fiction Competition sponsored by Hugh Howey (which is just getting started).

Earlier this month, Łukasz did an interview with me, which has just been posted on Fantasy Book Critic. I enjoyed his questions and had fun answering them.
